Yes, wee ones, it is that time of year again. It is the Feast Day of Saint Patrick. Patron Saint of Ireland. And being that I am <10% Irish, I feel it important to celebrate my heritage by drinking myself silly in a major international city.
For the last 3 years, B Lee (or Brian on the Bass, as you may know him) and I have spent St. Patrick’s Day together doing what we do best… drink excessively. We have had many other participants over the years and some amazing times.

First year was B Lee and I’s trip to Chicago with Dave, Tom and Aussie Greg where we saw Flogging Molly on St. Patrick’s Day and took turns kissing a giant boulder in someone’s front yard professing it was Chicago’s Blarney Stone.
Second year, B Lee, Emmy Lee and the “D” behind D Travel’s Round came up to visit me while I was living in Galway. We spent two nights boozing it in Dublin before heading back to Galway for the most epic St. Patrick’s Day ever.
We have yet to make many memories from this trip yet. So far, B Lee and I have shipped up to Boston to hang with Boston Rob, a friend of mine from college, drank a lot and scouted locations for last night and today’s debauchery. The only picture I have so far is of a preemptive wardrobe dry-run with the amazing green mustaches. A preview of more pictures sure to come.
And finally, I will end this St. Patrick’s Day post by wishing each of you a happy Day! Go out, drink some beer and speak Irish (for help on that, read the article I wrote for Boots N All on the Irish Language).
Slainte!
